FormFire is a SaaS that performs online medical insurance enrollment, digital quoting and underwriting, and secures personal health records.
At the time tat I was hired, FormFire was going through a redesign of their legacy platform. I created a new look and feel to aid that effort. I worked at their office in Cleveland, Ohio and occasionally worked remotely. FOrmFire is a wonderfully close-knit and innovative company.
I worked closely with their CEO, Q&A, and Support and was immersed in their Development Team. I maintained the style guide and pattern library and solved complex issues. We practised SCRUM methods and I lead their Retro meetings, often incorporating fun, interactive activities and providing sweet homemade bakes.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE,
STYLE GUIDE & PATTERN LIBRARY
I built out the information Architecture using a program called XMind -doing this helped me to visualize how the program is laid out in its entirety. Mapping out the program also helped to organize where particular interactions are located. I used this heavily to keep track of the pages that needed to be redesigned, had bugs, or just needed tweaking. I also created a Style Guide and Pattern Library for their rebranding.
